What is ABAP technology?

ABAP was created and developed by SAP and is the key tool used in the development and enhancement of functionality within SAP, it is also the key tool that underpins SAP’s capacity to enable full integration with 3rd party systems. All SAP R/3 applications and systems are written in ABAP, but more recently SAP NetWeaver supports both ABAP and Java.

ABAP excellence key to the development and success of Mandant

ABAP is arguably the most important base skill within Mandant as true ‘excellence’ in ABAP underpins almost all of our unique development and integration capability. It is a key ingredient of our success that every one of our consultants is at worst highly capable with ABAP and at best among the most experienced ABAP developers in the UK. The average experience of ABAP within our Development and Integration team is over 10 years, most of our senior team of Consultants were early members of the SAP Technology team with SAP UK following the release of R/3.

Our consultants have worked on some of the largest, most complicated and challenging Development and Integration projects in the UK. We also have considerable strengths and experience to understand the business considerations behind a process, enabling us to deliver customer-friendly changes to existing functionality and create solutions that comfortably co-exist with existing elements.
