SAPscript, Smart Forms and Adobe Interactive Forms

Forms are an integral part of many business processes. With SAP, customers can create, maintain, interact with, print and share forms relating to business processes from within SAP itself.

SAP now includes a number of form tools. SAPscript is the standard template and form-design tool for creating form-based printed documents directly from within SAP. Smart Forms provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface for the creation and maintenance of forms. It can generate HTML based on XML output, allowing the integration of interactive Web Forms in Web applications. Adobe PDF technology was integrated into SAP NetWeaver and mySAP ERP in 2004, providing enhanced interactivity with PDF forms, as well as improved printing and PDF business process integration.
